Anesthesia practice in a case with congenital hypothyroidism and developmental retardation

Preoperative recognition is important for the safety of anesthesia. In the present study, the management of anesthesia has been discussed in a 17 years old female patient with congenital hypothyroidism and developmental retardation who was operated due to neck mass and respiratory distress.

Preoperatif tanınması anestezi güvenliği açısından önem arz eder. Biz bu olgu sunumunda boyunda kitle ve solunum sıkıntısı nedeni ile operasyona alınan 17 yaşında gelişim geriliği olan konjenital hipotiroidili bayan olguda anestezi yönetimini tartıştık.
